THE DREAM I dreamt at midnight my dad coming to me and offered me some lectures about life and told me he is going to rest (but I knew I meant he is dying, as he was in another region hospitalized with cancer)

THE REALITY The dreamer was at boarding school. She knew her father was in another region and very ill with cancer. That same midnight her father died. The next day she phoned home and found this out.

THE INTERPRETATION It is difficult to see this dream as a convincing premonition because the dreamers father's death was not totally unexpected. But people suffering from cancer can linger on quite a time so its still quite a surprise when it actually happens. This dream could prove some kind of psychic connection. Its very much the kind of thing a father would do if he had a last chance to see his daughter.
