THE DREAM: Drug addict I was was realising that I was addicted to drugs. I wasn't happy. I was in Newcastle where I used to live. I was very run down and getting worse.

THE REALITY The dreamer had become obsessed with the paranormal and psychic matters. He was spending all his free time researching this on the internet. He realised that this was not making him happy. He was also becoming run down because of all this and so it is safe to assume that the dream was about this new obsession. The dream was therefor pinpointing his key emotions of being obsessed (addicted) and being run down. Newcastle was a symbol for something new in his life - as this obsession with all things paranormal was a new phase in his life. Any place name which included "New" such as Newcastle, Newquay or New York can be a symbol for something new in your life.
