THE DREAM I was crying. My grandmother seemed to be dying. I was really upset. Later I had a dream about a little girl. She was very vulnerable.

GUESSWORK The dreamer was attracted to a woman but was quite happy to be just friends. But he felt that there were real problems with the relationship. He really adored the woman and did not want to lose this relationship. He wanted to fight to keep this relationship alive and started to realise that he had to realise that the woman had her vulnerable side. The previous night he had been really rather upset.

ASSOCIATIONS AND SYMBOLIC MEANINGS
1. Tears can be associated with feeling upset. The dreamer was starting to feel deeply upset that a relationship that he really valued was going downhill.
2. Little girls can be associated with vulnerability. The dreamer felt that he had to realise how vulnerable the woman was. She felt intimidated by the dreamers actions. So he obviously had to tone things down.
3. Grandmothers could represent several things. The dreamer associated his grandmother with happy feelings. She was kind and loving.
