THE DREAM - fire There were a few of us around a nice homely house fire. It was like Christmas - a family time. I was holding hands with a girl at one point. Then I was holding hands with two people - a girl (Beth) and another friend, Tim.

THE REALITY The dreamer had lost touch with a group of people and was missing them a lot. He felt a real family type connection with them so losing contact with them felt like he had lost family members. The people in the dream were examples of people from other places. So really the dream captured this type of feeling - "I have lost touch with a group of friends. I will have to make do with what I have. I seem to have been making do and have stopped being as depressed as I was".
