THE DREAM I am climbing up into an attic loft. I had been saying something like "losers are for Loserville". When I have climbed through I jump the last bit. There is a woman just behind me. I trust her and jump across. When I am finished I find that I am now hanging from this ceiling. In this new portion I am now on the ceiling and the floor is miles below. I am hanging precariously.

Later in another dream I am in another loft. This is my sisters loft. Its all nicely laid out. I think of this as my home.

GUESSWORK The dreamer was becoming very isolated and was cutting himself off from friends. He was completely avoiding a friend who had been a good source of support.

ASSOCIATIONS AND SYMBOLIC MEANINGS
1. Loft. A loft is a difficult symbol to analyse. The dreamer had been cutting himself off from people and was trying to hide from the world. So this could be a symbol for that. A loft is somewhere where you put things which are then out of sight and out of mind.
2. Hanging precariously. Hanging precariously was an easy symbol to understand. The dreamer felt as if he was hanging precariously. He had decided on a course of action and the drastic action he took left him hanging precariously.
