THE DREAM I was in a very tense situation. There was some Nazi's in charge of the country. I was thinking how someone was stupid because he had not been standing up for the Nazi's. He was a member of the Nazi party but had been too quiet. The Nazi's liked people to be very vocal. He was likely to be a victim because of his silence. They were coming for people one at a time. Later on I was taken by the Nazi's. I was somewhere near the Spa bridge. I was being processed by the Nazi's. I knew I would be arrested.

THE REALITY The dreamer was living in a care home and the previous night one of the residents picked on someone. The dreamer stood up to the woman attacking someone for no reason. This was strange for him as he often just kept quiet in moments of confrontation. The attack was becoming a regular thing and the dreamer hated witnessing a brutal attack on someone who was quite innocent. The dream made the dreamer think of the following quote about the Nazi's by Martin Niemöller: "First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me."

Dreams are often about big incidents the day before and a major argument is a sure thing to trigger a dream. All you have to do is try to decode the symbolism and linking the dream to an exact thought process. The first question to ask is - who do the Nazi's symbolise? The answer is quite easily understood as the woman who started an argument picking on someone who was quite innocent. That is because Nazi's picked on innocent people. The dream is just saying "she is like a Nazi picking on innocent people for no reason."

The dream seems to be dealing with the fear of being arrested and picked on. In real life this nuisance woman was vindictive and would seek revenge on anyone who stood up to her. But we can add a second quote which sums up the dreams meaning - "I know there will be consequences but I have to stand up against someone who is such a bully." The arrest is a symbol for the consequences.

DREAM MEANING The dream captures the following feeling within the dreamer - "I stood up against her because I did not like seeing her pick on someone so innocent. I know she will pick on me now but she does it with everyone. She a nightmare."
