Its not a literal dream. You are right - you just want to be free of them. Its maybe not just your parents but authority in general. It was probably caused by some flashpoint the day before. Killing someone often shows that you are trying to resist someone - you do not like what they do... I am sure you are not the only person who has had interfering parents
