THE DREAM I seemed to be taking part in the Amazing Race. I was a contestant. I was getting highly involved. I was trying to think about the challenges that we were to face. My aunt was there at one point. She seemed to have left the washing up. I noticed how her kitchen was untidy and that she had let herself go.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION The dreamer had been very exhausted the night before. He was completely worn out and just took a sleeping pill which put him out all night. He keep waking up and was filling his mind with imaginations throughout the night. He had been watching TV reality shows like the "Amazing Race". He was due to watch the last episode of "Big Brother" but because of his exhaustion he had not bothered. The dreamers Aunt was also suffering from tiredness and exhaustion and did seem to be letting herself go.

Dreams often replay key moods from real life. In this case the dream and real life both featured exhaustion. True the dream did not feature the dreamer suffering from exhaustion it was the dreamers aunt who was noticably exhausted. In this case the dream probably catches this thought - "I feel as if I am exhausted all the time! I am heading the same way as my Aunt, who is neglecting herself"..
