THE DREAM There was a boy from school who knew - called John Raper. He was involved in time travel in some way. He was trying to sell me or show me a picture. It was a transparent picture.

1. John Raper is a real person who the dreamer had not seen for twenty years. It is a pun. It is clearly linked to the word 'rape'. Rape in dreams can be associated with all sorts of behavior. The dreamer accepted that he could have treated this woman very badly just two weeks before. He had said something which he felt might be passed on to the woman which would really upset her. 2. Time travel is obviously linked in the same way. The dreamer wished that he could travel back in time to see what had actually happened. It may have been that what the dreamer said was not passed on and therefore no problem existed.
