THE DREAM - It was a happy family dream. I was with my friend and we were shopping for black jumpers. It was a nice dream.

THE REALITY The dreamer was quite elderly and had recently had a friend fallen out with her. But the day before she had made up with him and they had spent the afternoon shopping for black jumpers. It had come as a big relief since her friend had been very ill and now they were best friends again. So the dream was quite literal in that it repeated a key emotion from the day before and even was about something they had been shopping on the internet for. So the dream therefore captured this feeling - I finally made up with my friend. It was a wonderful break through and we shopped on line that afternoon.
