THE DREAM I had quite a long dream for me. It seemed quite a story dream - in that it was telling a story. At the end I was showing my father this abortion.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The night before the dreamer was watching a TV program. It was a historical drama and was about this young boy who was really badly treated by his father who was very strict. He went to bed caught up in the emotion of this film. The atmosphere in the dream reminded him of the film and how it had touched him. The dream probably captures some feelings inspired by this film. It reminded him of his own tough childhood. An abortion could represent feelings that you are unwanted. A couple of days before the dreamer had been thinking about abortion after reading about it. So overall the dream probably caught these feelings - "I was watching this historical drama last night and it reminded me of my very tough childhood." Either way the abortion is a strong metaphor and its easy to see how it captures the intense emotions that the dreamer felt before going to sleep.
