THE DREAM I was in a home with some family get together. I was wanting to use someones toilet. My auntie (my favourite Aunt), said its no problem. I was feeling quite at home. It was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

THE REALITY Just recently the dreamer had been feeling at home when visiting a new friend. Dreams are about new feelings. But a dream may not feature the people or places they are about. They use identical settings and similar people. In real life the dreamer never saw his favourite aunt as she lived some way away. She was just a symbol for the homely atmosphere. It was a metaphor putting across the following feeling "I am feeling increasingly at home visiting my friend. He reminds me of my visits to my favourite aunt's".
