THE DREAM Two nights ago, I had this horrible nightmare. I saw that after waking up and going to the bathroom for my daily routine, I looked in the mirror and half my hair was cut off! (I should note that I don't like short hair and my Mom used to give me horrible boy cuts when I was a child). So in my dream, (unlike irl where my feelings have been a confusing rollercoaster these days), I had this very crystal clear rage and the certainty beyond ANY doubt, that the ONLY person who would have this audacity to break into my house, cut off my hair without permission and do this even while I was SLEEPING, would be her! I had no doubt at all.

I saw that I went to my parents home and started calling her out for this, enraged like never before, my dad was trying to understand what happened and my Mom would look at me kinda smugly all the while denying it and saying that she wouldn't dare do that? But I'd look at her and know that she's straight up lying and using my rage to make things even worse for me. I knew without a doubt! I even threatened her to never cross my boundaries again or try anything like that or I'd embarrass her in front of everyone.

THE REALITY Just recently the dreamer had come to the realisation that her mother was very cold and manipulative. For the previous five nights after an argument things had been like an "ice box" despite her trying to reconcile by kissing her goodnight. The first night of the fight she completely ignored the dreamer , didn't even turn to look at her and barely even mumbled a goodnight. The dreamer has started feeling suffocated by how much control her mother exerts. Due to this she has become a sick mess. All the time the anger still remains inside the dreamer for all the things her mother is doing.

The dream makes an important association which firmly hints at the dream been entirely about her mother. The dream of a crazy hair cut carried out whilst asleep reminded the dreamer of the hair cuts her mother used to give her as a child. Just because a dream features the dreamers mother does not mean it is about her but in this case this important association definitely suggests that the dream is about her mother.

THE ANALYSIS : The dream can safely be said to be about the dreamers mother. It is really a short story which captures this thought - "I am coming to the realisation that my mother is cold and manipulative. I cannot believe the lengths she will go to annoy me. If she tries anything like that again I will embarrass her in front of everyone."
