THE DREAM I had a short dream where I am trying to choose between which gang to join.

THE REALITY The dreamer was living in a shared home. He was trying to get along with everyone but he was finding that there were clicks everywhere. He was finding out that if you made friends with members of one click then it may offend members of another click. A gang has similar ways of behaving as they stick together and rejects others. Dreams are often about things that we are thinking about and they maybe symbolic versions of key thoughts. A click is just a non violent version of a gang. Clicks stick together and also reject everyone else. So a gang is an excellent symbol for a click. We often use the word gang to describe a group of people who stick together.
