Dark in dreams : Understanding dreams is not so difficult. In practice dream symbols translate into certain words within the english language. For instance, a darkness dream took place as the dreamer was particularly insecure about her boyfriend. Actually the night before the dreamer had been worried about his eyesight. So really the dark was his dreams way of saying "I am scared of losing my sight" which is what effectively happens in the dream.
