Forts in dreams: Understanding dreams is not so difficult. In practice dream symbols translate into certain words within the english language. For instance a "Drunk" dream may simply capture an everyday thought such as "I really did get very emotional yesterday". In that way your dream picks out one features of drinking - they often get very emotional and say things that they would not normally say.

Fort dreams - keywords
In practice patience have several symbolic meaning. Here is the full list.
- "Defensive personality" (Have you got a very defensive personality? If so then the walls of the fort maybe symbolise the defensive walls you put up against the world)
- "Strength confidence" ()
- "Cautious" (It has been found that dreams of castles and forts can occur when people are being particularly cautious or when they have a need for caution. So if you get a fort dream try to think how caution has featured in your thinking. If it has then the dream may relate to that specific issue and theme.)
- "Incomprehensible" ()
- "Feeling safe" (Dreams use similar situations to express feelings. So a fort dream may express a situation where you "Feel safe". So if any theme in your thinking features "Feeling safe" then the dream maybe about that issue. So if you were thinking yesterday how "My boyfriends mother always makes me feel safe" then the dream could be your minds way of expressing that feeling.)
- "Strong" (Some symbols are more helpful than others. Some can really hint at a dreams meaning. A castle or fort may relate to "Strength" in some way. But think of how many contexts which this appears in. Yes forts signify strength. But a fort dream could express any of the following "They help strengthen me as a person", "I have been trying to find the strongest approach", "She is a very strong person" or "Strength of mind is an important quality". Dreams use symbols like we use words. Think of all the ways we use the word "Strong" and then you realise that sometimes dream symbols do not help us understand a dream. They can mean many things and dreams rarely hint at a particular meaning.)
- "Not opening door" (In some cases a fort expresses the feeling that someone will under no circumstances open the doors. So, for instance, if you had stayed with someone who worries about their neighbours and will not open the door then that deals with a similar theme. So a fort could express the dreamers determination not to open the door in fear that a neighbour might be there ready to intimidate him.)
