Good in dreams: Understanding dreams is not so difficult. In practice dream symbols translate into certain words within the English language. For instance a dream about "good" things and feelings may simply translate in to the word "settled" and the dream may be a symbolic story which captures a thought such as "things are very settled right now at home and at work. I feel a lot stronger as a result".

- "My wishes" Have you been hoping for something to happen? Does the dream feature someone you want to be more involved with? If so the dream is about your hopes and wishes. It is likely that you were thinking about this before you went to sleep. The dream maybe linked to things that you want to happen but which have so far been elusive. The dream could therefore be about your tendency to let opportunities slip away.

- "Wanting support" Your dream could represent the need for support. You have maybe been mistreated and abused. You are looking for good people to help you in your dream when it is none existent in real life.

Its a fallacy that dreams capture unconscious thoughts - dreams represent thoughts that we are all too aware of. A typical dream would translate into the types of thoughts that we might write down in a diary or tell a best friend. Dreams represent your key thoughts which pinpoint the problems right now. Try to write down some quotes which capture your feelings right now and try to include the words and phrases above. For instance if you have been in a "rocky relationship" then the dream could refer to a quote such as "Things are good at the moment but I have to bear in mind that things could so quickly be bad. Its a real rocky relationship". The dream then is simply about your assessments about how things are either good or bad. Try to think of a quote like that as dreams are about key thoughts and feeling right now.
