Who is "Like a monster?" do you fear that people "Think you are a monster?"
Monsters in dreams:Understanding dreams is not so difficult. In practice dream symbols translate into certain words within the english language. For instance a "Monster" dream may simply translate into a phrase such as "I know my fears about meeting her are exaggerated". So dreams can translate into very real feelings within your own life right now.

Monster dreams
If you have a "Monster" dream then we can predict that certain words and phrases are appearing in your thoughts.
- "Exaggerated fears" (Is some fear getting out of control?)
- "Outrageous and unbelievable" (Symbols appear in our dreams to express certain thoughts. A monster dream may simply be your minds way of saying "That was outrageous!" or "I would not like to act like that as it would outrage people")
- "Thoughts out of control" (Monsters do not exist in reality so a dream may use them as a symbol to express thoughts outside of reality. So if your fears have no basis in reality or your thoughts are out of control then a monster dream may represent that lack of reality in your feelings)
- "Paranoia's" (True monsters only really exist in our mind in paranoia's)
- "Going to any lengths" (Who would go to any lengths to get what they want?)
- "Hidden anger" (A monster dream may link to some hidden anger inside you. Hidden anger has the tendency to come out in subtle ways. The monster represents the repressed anger which explodes in unfamiliar ways.)
- "Spiralling out of control" (Do you fear some problem is spiralling out of control? Is there nothing you can do to stop things getting out of hand?)
- "Something unknown moving about whilst you sleep" (Quite innocent noises can set your mind racing whilst asleep. You monitor sounds and at the slightest hint of trouble your mind is alerted. Was there someone walking about whilst you were asleep? What noises may have interrupted your sleep?)
- "Monstrous behaviour" (Try to interpret dreams in this simple way. Who behaved like a monster yesterday? What decision is monstrous? Your dream mind uses simple metaphors like this. A monster in your dream may simply be your minds way of saying "She behaved monstrously")

A monster could also link to situations which are "Getting out of hand." try to see which of these related feelings is most relevant to you right now. Dreams use dream symbols in an infinite number of ways. A dream about a monster will not translate simply into simplistic meanings. Some books have vague references to monster dreams saying that they mean you will meet a monster type person. Of course such applications do apply but along with so many more symbolic meanings. Think of that single symbolic meaning of monsters representing "Monster" type people. That could mean that you met a person who was a bit of a monster yesterday. But it could equally pinpoint your own mind as you worry that you are becoming a bit of a monster. But also equally the dream of a monster could represent your thoughts that you used to be a bit of a monster but now you have mellowed. It could also represent someone's false allegations that you are a monster. Think of real life language and dream language is equally as complex and subtle. But dreams do translate into real thoughts. They will tend to translate into thoughts that you are all too aware of. Its a fallacy that's dreams translate into unconscious thoughts. Most dreams translate into the type of thing you would write down in a diary or tell a best friend. So if you had a monster dream and someone was behaving like a monster yesterday then its likely that that was the symbolic connection. Look for little connections like that and try to build up a symbolic meaning which links to reality.
